Hands On Webinar: Downloading Data, Part 1: What Can We Really Learn from Blood Glucose Meters and Smart Pens?

This webinar is
the first in a two-part series about leveraging technology-enabled data to better manage diabetes. This session focuses on glucose meters and smart pens. Speakers discuss how to use real-time and retrospective glucose data from multiple sources to make diabetes care decisions; how to download and review data in the primary care setting for the most effective outcomes; and the purpose and potential value of “smart” insulin pens. Presenters share five actionable tips around downloading and using glucose data and closes with Q&A session.

This webinar was recorded August 10, 2022, as part of our  "Hands On” webinar series available exclusively to ADA members and offering CE credit.

The “Hands On: Tips to Improve Diabetes Care” series is presented by ADA’s Behavioral Medicine & Psychology, Diabetes in Primary Care, and Diabetes Technology Interest Groups through the generous support of the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust.
