WEBINAR SERIES

Maternal Health Access Three-Part Webinar Series

OVERVIEW

The rising incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in high-risk populations presents a critical challenge for health care professionals. Lack of access and bias often leave women in these populations vulnerable to poor maternal and infant outcomes. To address these challenges, we are launching a timely and impactful webinar series designed to equip health care professionals with the knowledge and tools to provide accessible and individualized care.

This three-part series will explore the complexities of GDM, from preconception risk management and early detection to optimizing care during pregnancy and continuing through postpartum support. Through a health care for all lens, the series will emphasize strategies to reduce disparities, eliminate bias in care delivery, and leverage the power of allied health professionals and community-based resources.

Our expert panel will share their insights on how best to support women at every stage of the GDM journey. From early screening to postpartum diabetes prevention, each session will provide actionable steps to enhance care for this at-risk population.
