TARGET AUDIENCE
This webinar series is intended for primary care physicians, physician associates, nurse practitioners, nurses, registered dietitians, pharmacists, and other members of the primary care team who manage patients with diabetes. This webinar series provides an excellent foundation in diabetes care and is appropriate for any clinicians who are new to practice or seeking a refresher on various topics on diabetes.

The panel will overview the history of exercise and its impact on diabetes care and management.

September 10, 3 p.m. ET

The panel will dive into provider perspectives on rural diabetes care.

October 8, 3 p.m. ET

The panel will provide guidance on how Primary Care practices can set up CGM use in their practice. 

November 12, 3 p.m. ET

The panel will give participants case-based examples of all the AID systems and what they bring to the world of pump therapy.

December 10, 3 p.m. ET

The panel will focus on exercise research and strategies specifically for diabetes management in the next generation.

January 14, 3 p.m. ET

The panel will discuss risk-taking and substance use in AYA with diabetes and examine national trends in substance use and clinical correlates across the T1D Exchange.

February 11, 3 p.m. ET

The panel will discuss obesity, an independent disease state that affects the cardiokidneymetabolic (CKM) state and which deserves individual and targeted treatments. They will also discuss dietary, lifestyle, and pharmaceutical approaches to this disease.

March 11, 3 p.m. ET

The panel will discuss skin integrity and diabetes devices. Skin care can often be a barrier of care for the diabetes patients that utilize continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps. Our presenters will identify solutions to skin irritation and share pearls of practice based on their experiences in the clinic setting.
