	Mayer Davidson, MD Charles R. Drew University Dr. Davidson is Professor of Medicine at both Charles Drew University and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Davidson was President of the American Diabetes Association for 1997-1998. A renowned speaker on type 2 diabetes, Dr. Davidson has presented hundreds of lectures nationally and internationally. He has served on the Editorial Boards of Diabetes Care, Diabetes Spectrum, Clinical Diabetes, Geriatrics, Diabetes Research & Clinical Practice and the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism and was a Consulting Editor of Hippocrates and an Associate Editor of Endo Trends. He was the Founding Editor of Current Diabetes Reports and was the Editor-in-Chief of Diabetes Care from 2002 through 2006. Dr. Davidson’s contributions to the medical literature include over 300 peer-reviewed and invited articles and 36 book chapters. He is the main author of the textbook, Diabetes Mellitus: Diagnosis and Treatment, the 4th edition of which was published in 1998 and has been translated into Italian and Portuguese. The fifth edition, Davidson’s Diabetes Mellitus: Diagnosis and Treatment, was updated by two of his colleagues. Dr. Davidson (along with a professional writer) wrote 2 editions of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Type 2 Diabetes. His last book entitled Meeting the American Diabetes Association Standards of Care: an Algorithmic Approach to Clinical Care of the Diabetes Patient was also published in 2 editions. Among his many awards are the Outstanding Physician-Clinician in Diabetes Award by the American Diabetes Association in 2016 and Marquis Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
	Stephen Clement, MD Inova Fairfax Hospital Dr. Clement is director of academics and research, Endocrinology Division, INOVA Health System, Northern Virginia. He is an adjunct Associate Professor in endocrinology at Georgetown University and Associate Professor of Medical Education at University of Virginia. He has been active in various committees within the ADA for past 30 years, including the professional practice committee. His work on the professional practice committee resulted in publication of the ADA technical review titled “Management of diabetes and hyperglycemia in hospital” Diabetes Care 2004.
	Rajesh Garg, MD Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Dr. Rajesh Garg is currently a Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Head of Diabetes Section at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He was previously an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, and then a Professor of Medicine and Director of Clinical Diabetes at the University of Miami. Dr. Garg has completed an immense amount of research work to improve the clinical care of patients with diabetes. He has published more than a hundred articles on issues related to diabetes. He is a nationally recognized expert on diabetes and serves on many national and international professional committees.
	Joyce Y. Lee, PharmD, APh, FCCP, BCPS, BCACP, CDCES University of California, Irvine School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Dr. Joyce Lee is a Health Sciences Clinical Professor from the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice, School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS) at University of California, Irvine (UCI). Dr. Lee received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Pharmacy, and completed her Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice Residency at University of Southern California, School of Pharmacy. She is a certified Advanced Practice Pharmacist (APh) in California and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) with dual certifications in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and Ambulatory Care (BCACP). At UCI SPPS, Dr. Lee coordinates the faculty mentorship & development program for the faculty members. Dr. Lee established a comprehensive medication management service called CAREPILLS at a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing chronic disease management to underserved populations in Orange County. Dr. Lee has published more than 45 peer-reviewed papers in health services research with a focus on quality care delivery and diabetes technology. Currently, Dr. Lee is a member of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Membership Advisory Group, and the Chair-elect for ADA’s Diabetes Self-Management Education & Support Interest Group Leadership Team. Dr. Lee has received numerous awards and accolades, including the 2021 Clinical Practice Award and 2023 Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award given by the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and California Society of Health-System Pharmacists, respectively.
