Blood Glucose Levels During Pregnancy: How low is too low?
Overview

Description: Too low in pregnancy is different than the definition of low in a non-pregnant adult. Different phases of pregnancy pose different risks of severe lows, which are more common in early pregnancy. Fingersticks need to be used to validate CGM measured lows. Stacking of insulin needs to be avoided to avoid swinging from high to low and back again.
