Overview
This interactive case study module follows the story of a care team supporting an adult patient with Type 1 diabetes.
Learning Objectives
  • Recognize the roles and contributions of primary care providers, dietitians, pharmacists, and behavioral medicine specialists in the multidisciplinary management of an adult with type 1 diabetes.  
  • Recall a patient-centered intervention plan by integrating medical, nutritional, pharmacological, and psychological strategies to support a newly diagnosed adult with type 1 diabetes.  
  • Evaluate patient data, including glucose trends, insulin pump settings, dietary habits, and behavioral factors, to identify key barriers to glycemic management and propose evidence-based adjustments.
