Dr. Akturk is a faculty at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes at the University of Colorado. He has been serving as the Communications Director of American Diabetes Association, Diabetes Technology Interest Group. He has been involved in many clinical trials that evaluated diabetes technologies and newer therapeutics as a Principal Investigator. He is the founder and program director of Diabetes Dialog, an annual diabetes technology hands on workshop for nationwide Endocrinology Fellows.
