Prediabetes is prevalent in the US and it causes serious health risks for our patients. While there are no clear signs of prediabetes and patients frequently don’t know they have it; there are tools to assess for type 2 diabetes risk and prevent or delay it. During this module, you will learn when and how to screen for prediabetes. We will also review lifestyle and pharmacologic interventions that you can access today to effectively prevent or delay diabetes in your at-risk patients.
