This interactive case study module follows the story of a care team supporting an adult patient with Type 2 diabetes.
Learning Objectives
  • Recall the pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment options for managing type 2 diabetes in adults.  
  • Recognize common barriers to diabetes management, including financial constraints, medication management, and lifestyle factors, to develop patient-centered interventions.  
  • Evaluate a patient’s medication regimen to determine necessary adjustments based on glycemic management and the risk of complications.
