In this one-hour American Diabetes Association® (ADA) webinar, speakers Anne Peters, MD and Jaime Ferrer examine the experience of athletes with type 1 diabetes. The panel shares anecdotes from the perspectives of an MD and an athlete and discuss best practices for the management and treatment of physically active individuals with type 1 diabetes. Presenters share five actionable tips for supporting professionals and people with diabetes, as well as host a Q&A session at the end of the webinar. This webinar is moderated by Jacob Kohlenberg, MD.
