MODULE 1

This module will cover the primary signs and symptoms of type 1 diabetes (T1D) as well as best practices to prevent the onset of the disease.

MODULE 2

Genetics, Diagnosis, and Disease Progress

This module covers the various stages of T1D and how the disease can progress in both adolescents and adults, as well as the differences distinguishing type one from type two diabetes.

MODULE 3

 Current Disease Management Strategies

This module will discuss presently available T1D treatments and strategies, as well as address existing diabetes technology used to assist in diabetes management.

MODULE 4

Monitoring and Preventing Complications

This module addresses the most common and challenging complications people with T1D face and best strategies to prevent complications from developing.

MODULE 5

Barriers in Therapy Access and Utilization

This module addresses barriers to healthcare that impact people living with T1D, including challenges due to socioeconomic status, racial disparities, and financial burdens, amongst others.

MODULE 6

 Emerging Therapies

This module discusses new and upcoming therapies and treatments for type T1D and previews what lies ahead with funded research in the diabetes space.
