Module Description
In this module, you will learn how to efficiently communicate with diabetes patients in the clinical setting. This course gives insight into the essential components of effective communication and how it can positively contribute to the overall health and well being of the patient.
Learning Objectives
1.    Identify Common biases and misbelief about people with diabetes that can impact communication.
2.    Recall motivational issues in people with diabetes.
3.    Select the essential components of effective communication.
4.    Identify the importance of patient-health care professional (HCP) trust in patient outcomes.
5.    Recognize proper language guidance to improve patient – HCP communication and clinical engagement.
