In this ADA webinar, the panel discusses the unique challenges that geriatric patients face when entering the world of diabetes technology. Speakers address how to build trust between the technology and the older patient, as well as exploring the unique challenges and barriers that elderly patients face. The panel share five actionable tips for supporting professionals and people with diabetes, as well as host a Q&A session at the end of the webinar.

The session is a part of the Hands On: Tips to Improve Diabetes Care webinar series available exclusively to ADA professional members and presented by the ADA’s Behavioral Medicine & Psychology, Diabetes in Primary Care, Exercise Physiology, and Diabetes Technology Interest Groups—supported by funding from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust.

This program is intended for primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, and other members of the primary care team who manage patients with diabetes.
