This webinar examines the role of implicit bias in the management of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and its impact on marginalized communities. Participants will uncover strategies to foster trust and improve communication in clinical interactions while exploring culturally sensitive approaches to GDM management. The session highlights evidence-based interventions, including tailored nutrition counseling, glucose monitoring, and pharmacotherapy that address the unique needs of underserved populations. Viewers will also gain insight into the role of allied health professionals in delivering team-based care that mitigates social and economic barriers.
