Target Audience
This course is designed to increase the knowledge of diabetes management for physicians, physician associates, nurses, pharmacists, registered dietians, and other contributing members of the team.

- Describe the basics of how carbohydrate intake affects glucose
- Understand the importance of accurate carbohydrate counting
- Be familiar with common tools used to estimate the carbohydrate content of foods without a Nutrition Facts label
