Medha Munshi, MD
Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School Director, Joslin Geriatric Diabetes Program Geriatrician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
Medha N. Munshi, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. She is a geriatrician and an endocrinologist whose clinical work focuses on diabetes management in older adults at the Joslin Diabetes Center and primary care for older adults at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Munshi developed the Geriatric Diabetes Program at the Joslin Diabetes Center and leads research to identify challenges faced by older individuals with diabetes, develop strategies to overcome these barriers, and improve clinical and functional outcomes. A key focus of her work is the risk and impact of hypoglycemia in the aging population.

Dr. Croley is the Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacist for Laurel Senior Living Communities in London, Kentucky. She and her pharmacy team provide care to residents in the Skilled Nursing Facility and two Retirement/Assisted Living Facilities. Dr. Croley serves as preceptor for several Colleges of Pharmacy. She is an active member in APhA, ASCP, and KPhA serving in various capacities. She is a Licensed Diabetes Educator in the state of Kentucky. She is also currently serving on the ACPE Board of Directors.

Lance Sloan, MD, is triple board certified in Endocrinology, Nephrology, and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, the American Society of Nephrology, the Endocrine Alliance Academy, the American Society of Preventive Cardiology, and the American College of Physicians. He currently serves as President of the Texas Institute for Kidney and Endocrine Disorders and as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and Sam Houston State University in Conroe, Texas.

Susan Guzman, PhD, is a clinical psychologist specializing in diabetes and Co-Founder of the Behavioral Diabetes Institute (BDI), the first non-profit organization focused on the emotional and behavioral aspects of living with diabetes. As BDI’s Director of Clinical Education, she develops and leads programs for people with diabetes and healthcare professionals and has facilitated diabetes distress group interventions in three NIH-funded studies for adults with type 1 diabetes. Dr. Guzman is committed to reducing shame and stigma in diabetes and has contributed to national and international efforts, including the ADA and ADCES language workgroup and the International Consensus to End Diabetes Stigma panel.
