In this ADA webinar, an expert panel will explore the complex issue of fear of hypoglycemia (FOH) across different types of diabetes and life stages. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of FOH as both a pathological concern and a potential protective factor, and how it impacts diabetes management. The session will also highlight strategies for supporting patients and families through behavioral interventions, diabetes education, and tailored treatment approaches. The panel will share five actionable tips for supporting professionals and people with diabetes, as well as host a live Q&A session at the end of the webinar.
